The main activity of the Charity is to hold a yearly festival in Claire’s home village of Ashwell called “Clairefest”, this is an event with bands, side shows, food stalls, a bar, merchandising and other money raising activities.
The goal is to attract as many people as possible and raise as much money as possible on the day and it is intended to have most of the cost met by either volunteers or by donations and sponsorship. Also most of the side shows, food stalls and bar will be run as non profit making with proceeds coming to the charity.
The date for the event is 3rd September 2011
